The wizarding prison, no longer in use under Voldemort's current Ministry, is located on an isolated island in the ocean. The Dementors still hang out occasionally, but they're not big fans since there are no longer humans to feed from.

The Wizarding bookshop, specializing in textbooks for Hogwarts students of all years. It offers a healthy arrangement of non-educational books, as well; however, many of the titles seem to glorify the Dark Arts since the Ministry was taken by the Death Eaters.

A well-known inn and tavern that was formerly a popular haunt of Hogwarts students in Hogsmeade. More likely to find themselves here now, however, are the Death Eaters.

Falsely rumored to be "the most haunted building in Britain," the Shrieking Shack was a favorite stop on any Hogsmeade visit. Adventurous students may find some refuge in its walls, however, as even Death Eaters do not approach it.

A shop in Knockturne Alley dedicated to the buying and selling of Dark Magic items. Very popular in recent times.

The corner-holder on Wizard reporting, the Prophet is situated in an unknown and hidden location in Diagon Alley.

Once frequently crowded and thriving, despite being dark and shabby on the inside, the Cauldron is more often than not rather empty now.

A shop that has been run by the Caitiffan family for over five generations, Caitiffan's Cove deals with magical items and devices of the Darkest nature, as well as some curious and amusing wares.

The Creature-Induced Injuries ward is safely stationed on the first floor of the hospital, along with the first of two supply closets.

The Spell Damages Ward, second supply closet, and, of course, a whole load of corridors are quite comfortable on the fourth floor.

No longer part of the second level's Department of Magical Law Enforcement, this first floor is dedicated almost solely to the Minister and his affairs. His personal office, lavishly decorated, is located here. Not far from that, his personal meeting hall.

The Department for Magical Law Enforcement has not changed in its purpose since Voldemort reformed the Ministry. Now, however, instead of Aurors, it has all of the resources for the Red-Masked Guards, his elite army of hand-picked Death Eaters. The Wizengamot Administration Services also kept their home on this level.

This floor contains a few luxuries for all the hard-working Ministry officials. There's a comfortable lounge area, which offers tea and snacks, comfortable chairs and sofas, reading material, and House Elves to cater to every whim of those visiting. Also on this floor, personal offices of the Red-Masked Guard; all offices are comfortable, but the higher ranked officers get nicer than the new recruits.

The Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures has gotten a little bit of a makeover; it is now called the Sentient Being Outreach Division, and its purpose is to entice "second-class" citizens from werewolves to giants into the Ministry's arms with promises of superior treatment and the occasional baked good.

The Department of Internations Magical Cooperation is a little more . . . locally focused these days. Naturally, foreign politics are still very important! But with the change in Ministry policy, and the Minister's campaign to bring stability and Unity Through Darkness, the Ministry's most wanted hostiles trump almost everything else. That is not to imply our dear Minister is anything less than diplomatic, of course!

This coffee shop is known for its delicious coffee. It has a muggle side and a wizarding, each side separate from the other. Each side has its own delicious menu of drinks, served by sassy baristas. Under new management after the death of the old owner.

A moderately-sized record store that sells both vinyl records and CDs. It (usually) has a friendly, casual atmosphere, rather than the snootiness that often comes with music stores.

"Love at first bite" is this pizza parlor's slogan, and most customers agree wholeheartedly.

A friendly, small ice cream parlor that is well-known for its extra malty milkshakes.

A popular but family-owned bookshop that has everything from first edition novels, to the latest pop author.

The Green Man is a small, but very close-knit pub with a friendly atmosphere and a good selection of beer and cider. Its pretty well known to the locals for its simple, classic pub foods, and nearly always has some kind of rugby or footie match on the telly. The name is rumored to have come from the many failed attempts to perfect their own home-brewed beer, and the failed protypes' affects on their taste-testers. Luckily the only green gents in this pub now are the ones who've had one too many!
