Face/Celebrity Claim: Agnes Fischer
Physical Description: Tonks is a pretty young woman with a heart shaped face and dark brown eyes that once twinkled always. These days, her short hair is a mousey brown and her eyes rarely twinkle. Average height and thin, she can sometimes look drawn, even ill at times. Probably all from the pain and her lack of food and sleep.
Character History: Born “Nymphadora Tonks,” Tonks hates her first name and insists people call her by her last name and doesn’t accept other forms of her name. (though, as a child, her father called her “Dora”)
Tonks was a mischievous child in school, but a good student. Her goal was to be an Auror so she strove to get the highest marks in all of the required classes. She achieve this and spent the additional three years training with the Ministry. Twenty years of age and clumsy as ever, Tonks managed to pass Auror training. (Nearly failed on Stealth and Tracking.)
She went on working for the Ministry as an auror and was a secret member of the Order of the Phoenix. Everything changed when the power shift began, leading to the Dark Lord himself taking the role of Minister. She was forced to flee the Ministry and her job but still considers herself an Auror. (“You don’t need a badge or qualifications to uphold justice and hunt down Death Eaters and you certainly don’t stop hunting ‘em just because they run the show. That just makes them easier to find.”) She’s been living at the Order of the Phoenix’s Headquarters ever since.
Since Dumbledore’s death and Harry’s disappearance, Tonks has been trying her hardest to remain the same hope-filled young woman she’s always been but her mind and heart have been trouble and distracted. Her love for Remus Lupin was never easy. He had the silly idea that he was too dangerous, too old and too poor for her. She didn’t care, she never cared about any of that and loves him still, but for the past four years Remus has been away more often than he’s been around and he still insists on distancing himself from Tonks. The pain has been too much for her to bear more often than not, her hair has gone a mousy brown. She eats much less than she used to, sleeps less, too and is no longer the life of the party nor overly social in general. She knows there’s nothing she can do but wait but she wishes so that Remus would come home and come around to the idea.

Personality Sketch: Tonks used to be an energetic, vibrant young woman who considered herself the carefree life of the party. Always smiling and morphing her hair bright colours. She was clumsy as all get out but she didn’t mind. These days, she’s much more introverted and very plain-looking. She keeps to herself and talks to those close to her far less often. She is quiet and shy and her clumsiness is a point of endless frustration. Just another reason she can’t be happy, she supposes. She tries very hard, about eighty percent of the time to be more hopeful, but with such a heavy heart, such things become difficult.
Quirks: Clumsiness.

(AS JINMEI XU)
It was a slow day at the Prophet. Considering there was a war going on, there didn't seem to be too many stories. It felt, at least to Jinmei, that every story was getting to be the same. "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named Still at Large (and still in charge)" "You-Know-Who Rains Terror" "England Deemed Unsafe for Muggles" "Kitten Stuck up a Tree, Dark Lord for Setting Tree Aflame.
These were the imaginary headlines that ran through Jinmei's min as she balanced her quill on the tip of her finger and watched it absentmindedly. What really annoyed her was that she knew nothing about what was going on aside from the obvious. She wanted so badly to know what was happening within the Ministry, how the resistance was doing on members, if the resistance was really more than five people, or perhaps it was half of the UK. She wanted to know if Voldemort was worried about his position. New regimes are always weakest at the start. Coups are all well and good but they're fragile until the first usurper is long gone. But You Know Who was said to be immortal. Did that mean he would have to evolve as a ruler or that it would be a fragile existance forever. She wanted to know what epople really thought, not just what they felt safe saying. And more than anything she was hungry to know the wherebouts of Harry Potter. There was simply no way he had perished. Jinmei had been following that boy since his first year at Hogwarts and if h e was dead, well then nothing interesting would ever happen again, she was sure of it.
Of course, it wasn't that she wanted to see Potter rise from the ashes and defeat the Dark Lord for truth, justice and all that is good in the world. She just wanted to know. That was why she'd become a reporter in the first place, she could find out things, know things. She had no intention of being like Rita Skeeter and trying to stir things up with her articles. She liked to share knowledge that she felt others deserved to know. She did, occasionally, keep tidbits that she learned from investigating to herself, but for the most part she had discovered that, unlike at school, she was not privy to the kind of knowledge that did not deserve to be public anymore. For the time being she would keep writing her stories as they came to her, but she hoped beyond hope that she would soon learn something, anything worth learning.
For the present, however, she was psuedo-content to be sitting in her office, balancing her quill on the tip of her finger.
