Decaydance is a record Label, formed and founded by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy to host his friend's band. Since then, it has grown significantly. It now boasts some of the most popular bands on the scene these days, including Pete's own band, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, and Gym Class Heroes. It also houses upcoming popular bands, such as Hey Monday and Four Year Strong.
Fueled by Ramen is a record label based in New York and was founded by John Janick and Vinnie Fiorello from the band Less Than Jake. It started out with a self-titled EP released by Jimmy Eat World, and grew to release albums and EPs from some of today's most popular bands. These bands include Paramore, The Academy Is..., and Cute is What We Aim For. It's also home to some rising stars, such as This Providence and A Rocket to the Moon.
Decaydance Records is a semi-literate to literate RPG based on the two aforementioned record labels and is set in Los Angeles, California. It centers around all of the bands that are signed to both labels and deals with recording, touring and just hanging out. You may sign up with a canon or an original character, and you can be in a band or you can work for one of the labels. Or you can just be a fan. Because it's all about the fans, isn't it? Will your band rise to the top and overcome the stereotypical media of the world today, or will you let the rumors get the best of you? You don't live with your parents anymore. It's time to get over the homesickness and hit the stage. home || rules || face claim || canons || advertise || join
