Salem has always had a wondrous and vivid history from being one of the first colonies many a many years ago, and all the talk of the witch trials. But who wouldn’t want to believe in them. Every one looks for something to believe in whether it be someone, something or a fear. Fear is something that corrupts us all, but that is not all of it. There are many things that corrupt us, the majority of which everyone knows, they are called by many a name, but the most common you ask? The Seven Deadly Sins.

The sins are said to be the most corruptive thing to ever have been created or established. But has that stopped anyone. The answer to that question? No. In society these days it is in everyday life that people use them. You envy the neighbor for getting the promotion before you, you lust over your girlfriend who is ten years younger. You sloth around the house, giving up on things that were once important. There is nothing to stop you from committing these disastrous deeds. And because of that, cities are being corrupted. There was nothing to stop Salem, and there is sure to be more, its just a matter of time.

A long time ago, there were seven friends, each with a special trait of their own. The town started to shun them, spreading rumors about each of them, putting each against each other. They began to bicker, and broke up. Each distraught and wanting to feel superior, better than his friends. Began to search, collecting followers, people who agreed with their ways of life, and the cults grew exponentially. Becoming more powerful than they ever would have imagined. True weapons of mass chaos.

Speaking of chaos, that was all that the city saw from that time on. The surrounding cities moved farther, no one wanted to do business with the in humane people of Salem. It was sooned to be nick named the Damned City. City of Despair. It had many a many names, but Salem somehow survived. Despite it's unexpected survival, Salem still suffered. The cults refused to leave the city, each took up a section whether it be downtown, up town, or the beach. They continued to fight.
