Physical Description: When "natural" Tamara Hughes has pale skin, ice-blue eyes and platinum blond hair. She's average height and very thin (high metabolism combined with making sure she stays in shape for Quidditch will do odd things to a body.) She has long legs and a long torso, almost beanpole-like, she has hips and a bit of jiggle in her behind but not a whole lot going on in the chest area. ("enough for me and all the guys who wanna shag me, so who's complaining?" she says) Tamara is, in fact, a Metamorphmagus, so she has the ability to change any and all of these aspects, but chooses only to use her power to manipulate her hair. She prefers to keep it relatively short to medium length and almost ALWAYS brightly coloured. Once in a while, when bored or for a special occaision, she'll do something really funky and use more than one colour in her hair, but she makes a habit not to let her blond show. Only when she's particularly exhausted or low on energy/power will it betray her true colours. (Literally)
Her clothing style is as out there as her hair. She likes wearing band t-shirts and muggle clothes that most would call "London Punk" style, she also has occasion to wear comfy, laid back, bohemian-style outfits, not-quite beatnik, but lazy, comfortable and flowy. She also finds ways to manipulate and combine the two
Character History: Tamara Morgana Hughes was born to a middle class pureblood family and raised in a small wizarding community just outside of London. She was an only child with loving, open-minded parents. She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the age of eleven and made enough close friends to last lifetimes, a few enemies and a lot of people smile. She partied hardy and studied enough to get by, but mostly she played Quidditch. Always. From the age of three when she had one of those tiny brooms that didn't go more than a foot off the ground to the age of twenty when she trained to hopefully join a-probably illegal, underground-Quidditch team. ("The Bad Guys are making the rules now anyway, so who cares about the legality, it’s QUIDDITCH!")
After everything that happened with the school, Tamara's parents decided it was too dangerous to live out in the open in England, so they ran to a safe house of sorts. Only the Hughes' know where that was or how they got there, but the family basically vanished off of the face of the earth for a good deal of time. Tamara hated the idea of hiding, and keep secret communication with her very best of friends, Cardea Dwyre. Cardea was a sort of psychic, the kind who had visions. A lot. Cardea knew the battle was coming and left Tamara hints, possibly subconsciously, that there were bad things about to happen very soon. When Cardea disappeared, Tamara did everything she could to locate her, but she was stuck at school. Once a break came that year, Tamara went right to the Hinterlands, where she just knew she would find Cardy. She learned enough about how bad everything was going to be without making Cardea relive her vision-as it was obviously painful-and decided to stay at the school and fight it out.
She survived the battle by disguising herself thoroughly. It the only time she's every used her morphing ability to such an extent aside from one attempt to imitate a teacher, both attempts ended in fainting from lack of discipline, focus and energy/power. once safe and woken from passing out, Tamara went straight home to assure her family that she was alive and well. The Hughes' went into hiding immediately.
Through her secret communication with Cardea, she heard about how things were going...sort of. Cardea got most of her information from either her House Elves or her visions. Cardea decided she had to be safe, and Tammy agreed, if Voldemort found out there was a seer as powerful as Cardea out there, it couldn't be good. So Tamara agreed to be Cardea's secret keeper. This was ideal. Besides Tamara's perfect ability to keep her mouth shut about important things like that, she was completely isolated from the rest of the world.
However, after the recent death of her mother, and her father's need to get out and travel alone (to find himself or death, neither Tam nor Dane could really tell) Tamara has been set free from her hiding place and is eager to get back into the word, hopefully to help in any way she can.
Personality&Quirks
Likes: Beating, Quidditch, kittens, watermelon, pies, truth, instant gratification, surprises, justice, equality, wax (not the kind you get from ears, though) dragons and male athletes.
Dislikes: Bullies, horn dogs, overconfidence when it's not called for, cauliflower and general unpleasant things.
Personality Sketch: Tamara is loud with a capital BANG! From her voice, to her clothes to her attitude, everything about Tamara is energized and bright and out there. She's very opinionated and generally lets those opinions known. (Although she knows well enough not to get herself killed) A lot of who Tam is is based around her fanatical love for Quidditch (and the boys who play the game) She has a lot of self esteem most of the time, but in school she was taken advantage of by a lot of boys. She's insecure that she'll ever find real love, but she's a HUGE flirt. It all just kind of falls into place.
Quirks: Aside from what some call her “mood hair” (she likes to change her hair colour according to what mood she’s in or the outfit she’s wearing) she doesn’t really have any.
The War
Affiliation: Pro-Order
Why: Tamara has always been pro-tolerance and against purity of blood. She was raised to accept others and truly believes in equality.

(from a site with my friends ful of random fandoms, this one's Naruto 'cause I didn't feel like finding the good stuff. Yay laziness)
The sun was high in the sky as noon approached over the training grounds of Konohagakure. Training dummies were set up all around as if overseeing the bodies of the fallen; splintered wood and smoldering straw littered the beaten ground. Some dummies still look as pristine as a weatherbeaten training dummy can while others were pumped full of kunai and shuriken. One dummy was without a head, another without any arms and a third had a chunk of its torso blasted clean off.
All of this damage was recent, fresh as the kicked up dust in the air and the skidmarked dirt where grinding halts had been dragged out at angles.
As a soft breeze cleared away some of the airborn dust, Akemi let out an attack cry and pounced upon one of the untouched training dummies. She landed in a crouch on its head for a moment before pushing off in a flip high into the air, throwing an exploding kunai directly at its base The single kunai became five and surrounded the dummy, exploding loudly in a thick plume of dust and smoke behind her as she landed gracefully on the ground, as close to it as a crouched cat.
Her companion, Chigiru finished using one of the fallen dummies as a scratching post and sat up, preening himself with his tongue and his paw.
Akemi used her crouched position to stretch as she let her breath catch up. They had been training nonstop since dawn and her muscles were beginning to ache. She needed to rest for a bit and stretch out all the tension in her legs.
"Almost lunch time." She commented aloud. Chigiru mewled in agreement and Akemi tossed him a treat. That would have to hold him until she was done stretching and he knew it and continued to clean his fur.
