Character History:
With six older brothers, Ginny learned quickly how to look out for herself. Because their mum had always wanted a daughter, even though the chances seemed slim (there hadn't been a Weasley girl born in several generations), she was almost insanely protective of Ginny. Though there was nothing Ginny could do to stop her mum from being an overbearing dragon for a mother, she did learn how to lie convincingly to either get her way or get out of trouble.
Though she loves all of her brothers, Fred and George were always her favorite, followed closely by Bill and Charlie. Ron could get annoying at times, especially once she started dating in Hogwarts, but he was never as much of a git as Percy. If it weren't for the red hair, brown eyes and freckles, she would have tried pretending Percy wasn't related to her in school.
Aside from harboring a major crush on Ron's best friend, Harry Potter, for the majority of her life, she was quite comfortable making her own friends in school and taking advantage of her time in Hogwarts to be her own person, without a crowd of brothers butting into her life. She dated Michael Corner for a while, until he turned out to be an insufferable whiner, at which point she dated Dean Thomas... though she broke up with him, too, because they were always quibbling with each other. It drove her mad. And then, finally, Harry Potter noticed her, and for a short but blissful time, they dated each other, until Dumbledore's funeral when Harry broke up with her.
Since she was a little girl, she had been sneaking her brothers' brooms out of the shed and taking turns flying on each, and always dreamed of being a Chaser on the Holyhead Harpies all-girl team. When Harry, Fred and George were booted off the team by that Umbridge twat, Ginny seized her chance to join Gryffindor's team. Although she couldn't be a Chaser, she took the role of Seeker seriously and did her best, though she never expected to be any Harry Potter.
She fought against Death Eaters with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna and Neville in the Department of Mysteries, and stood with her friends again when Death Eaters invaded Hogwarts thanks to Draco Malfoy's vanishing cabinets.
After school, she was offered a place as a reserve on the Holyhead Harpies team, but by then the Ministry had fallen, and she couldn't in good conscience leave her friends or the Order to go play Quidditch. Instead, now that she was of age and her obsessive mother couldn't stop her, she officially joined the Order of the Phoenix and helped organize and ferret information for the secret broadcast of Potterwatch.

- Voldemort and everything he's done to hurt friends and loved ones.
- Being hushed or underestimated because she's a girl or the youngest.
- Being told what to do by ANYBODY, especially her overprotective brothers.
- Worrying herself sick over Ron, Harry, and so many others.
- Rita Skeeter and that Umbridge cow.
Fears:
- Everyone she loves dying at the hand of Voldemort.
- Finding out that Harry Potter or Ron are dead.
- Voldemort and his stupid croonies winning the war.
- The Ministry tracking down Potterwatch somehow.
Goals:
- To keep the Resistance updated and motivated through Potterwatch.
- To do her part in the Order to get Voldemort out of power.
- To join the Holyhead Harpies when all of this madness is over.
- To improve her admittedly awful poetry skills (she still cringes when remembering, "His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad..").
Skills:
- As anyone on the receiving end of it can tell you, she's superb at hexes, especially the Bat-Bogey Hex.
- She's stubborn and brave; once her mind is made up, she's unstoppable.
- She does eerily accurate impersonations.
- A quick thinker, she can come up with plans on the spot.
Quirks:
When she sets her jaw, her facial resemblance to Fred and George is striking. When she flips her hair over her shoulder, it's usually after delivering an "Oh, snap!" moment that was too good for words. Ginny's nostrils flare when she's getting mad, and when she narrows her eyes, it's a good time to start thinking about casting Protego on your face.

Harry, dead. Ron, dead. Hermione, dead. Luna, dead. Any one of the Weasleys, dead. Any of her friends, dead.
To banish the patronus, their bogeys would turn into bats that would slap their faces silly until they woke up.

ERISED
Herself, wearing Holyhead Harpie robes and clutching a quaffle under one arm, standing hand in hand with Harry, and all of her friends and family and fellow Order members alive and happy and all around her.
Personality:
Ginny is clever, proud, self confident, capable, determined, witty, steadfast and passionate. She's good to her friends and merciless with her enemies. She can be snarky at times, but is sweet in her own way, and like Fred and George, she appreciates the value of a good laugh in stressful times. Despite (or perhaps because of) being the only girl in seven children, she's independent and fiesty, and as anyone who has ever tried will tell you, it's damn hard telling her what to do.
Although she's tough, with an iron will and an indomitable spirit, she's got a soft spot for cute, fluffy, and pink things. One of her favorite past-times is sitting around with friends, swapping jokes and stories and making people laugh.
As a girlfriend, she's supportive, understanding, and generous, but at the same time, she's no one's doormat. Wipe your feet on her, and she'll swipe your nose off.
